This eliminates the risk of fuel price spikes with a cap on the price you pay for your heating oil. An enrollment fee for the program ensures you receive the lowest possible cap rate. The fee can be placed on your budget payment plan. When fuel costs rise, you never pay more than your cap price. When fuel costs are below your cap, you pay the lower price. It’s always a win-win situation!

Rocket™ – An electronic gauge that accurately and reliably measures the fuel level in your oil tank, whether outside or inside, and transmits that information to a wireless receiver located in a convenient location in your home. The receiver plugs into any 110v outlet in your home, usually the kitchen. It displays the oil level as “bars”, where each bar represents 10% of the tank’s capacity. It produces an audible and visual warning when the oil level drops below 10% of the tank’s capacity. You don’t need to go down into the basement or outside to determine your oil level.
Visitank Tank Monitoring Equipment – A web-based tank level monitoring system using the Rocket™ monitor that is perfect for those of you that leave your home for the winter, have vacation homes, managed properties, apartment buildings, commercial installations, remote locations or use other heating fuels as well as heating oil. With the use of an ultrasonic sensor and a “smart” modem, we can “see” your tank level right from our office and fill it at just the right time…one less thing for you to worry about! It supports future temperature and burner monitoring capability as well!
Automatic Delivery - This is the delivery service that most of our customers rely on. There are no minimum deliveries or delivery charges. There is no need to call when you need oil. By monitoring temperature changes 24 hours a day, we can anticipate your next delivery and are able to offer you a guarantee that you will not run out of fuel or you will receive a $25.00 credit to your account.
Will Call Delivery - This is the type of delivery in which the customer is responsible for monitoring their own tank and is requested to call for a delivery 3 to 4 days in advance, especially during extremely cold weather conditions. We recommend you schedule a delivery when your tank is ¼ full. If you allow your tank to run out of fuel, we will make a delivery as soon as possible during our regular delivery hours, Monday through Friday. If you need fuel sooner, you can pick up on-road diesel or kerosene at BellStores Marathon convenience stores locations. Will call customers create a challenge for us to deliver efficiently. We respect the fact that there are those who want to monitor their own tanks and always will. Our real challenge is to educate them of their options and to make sure they understand in addition to having guaranteed deliveries, they can save money by being on automatic delivery and also take advantage of our CapAdvantage price cap plan.
Budget Payment Plan - One of the benefits of our budget payment plan is that it spreads your annual heating costs into 12 even monthly payments so every fuel bill is low, predictable and manageable. Our budget season begins August 1st and runs through mid-July. Monthly payments are due each month with your final payment of the season being paid by July 20th. Monthly payments are due anytime during the month and must be in our office before the last business day of each month. If you find your usage changes or the winter is colder than expected, you may need to increase your monthly payments to avoid having a large balance due in July. Since your monthly budget is your annual heating costs divided into 12 monthly payments, you are required to make monthly payments even if you have not received any deliveries. Our Massillon based customers may have their monthly budget payment set up to be automatically withdrawn from their checking account.
Open Account – Will Call & Automatic Delivery – The delivery ticket you receive is your invoice and payment is expected in the terms printed on the invoice by check, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express), cash or money order.
Cash on Delivery (COD) - COD customers have the choice of paying for their product and services with a credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express) at the time of the order, or pay with cash, check or money order that can be given to the driver at the time of delivery. We also recommend using the Marathon Platinum Mastercard from Chase for your fuel oil purchase.
- We will respond to your emergencies any time, day or night.
- We will not let you run out of oil on automatic delivery.
- To ensure maximum efficiency, we will always use professional testing equipment, not guesswork, when we are servicing your comfort equipment.
- We will leave your home as clean as it was when we arrived.
Safe Heating Oil Fill Requirements
Our insurance provider requires us to focus on risk management and loss avoidance which provides for a safer fill for you and our employees. We conduct annual safety meetings for all drivers concerning fuel deliveries and spill prevention. We use the National Fire Protection Code as the basis for our safety notice form
that we leave for a customer if an unsafe condition exists. Our service team can assist you in any upgrades that you may need. If you have an inside fill, please call us so we can provide you with an estimate on installing an outside fill for you. We are also required by the Department of Transportation not to park on roadways when we make deliveries.
